 My daughter has been playing piano for 4 years, and she is very talented. She received first class honours for all her RCM exams by practicing on a digital piano. After she passed Grade 7 exam, we moved to a bigger house, it had the room to accommodate a grand piano. We started piano hunting. We tried a few a brands and finally we saw and heard the HAILUN piano at Piano Gallery in February 2012. Brian was truly helpful to answer, in detail all kinds of questions we asked. My daughter played on it and we were all impressed by the sound and tone, which is not too bright or too mellow. We loved it and that’s it. We got delivery very quickly. | i am 100% satisfied with my experience from the Piano Gallery. If you are looking for amazing customer service with great quality pianos, than this is the place to go. Brian's knowledge and honesty helped immensely with purchasing my first piano. I was looking for an electrical piano with the sound and feel of a regular piano. He introduced me to the Kurzweil MP-10. I have never seen or played anything so amazing! I love the feel of it and how the control panel of numerous sounds and rhythms are neatly off to the side. The pricing was more than fair considering what other musical stores are offering where look and quality are concerned. I have had my piano for 4 months now and still consider it the best investment i have made. So, thank you Brian for the positive and memorable experience at your beautiful gallery! | My dad died 2 years ago and he left me some inheritance money. It was really important for me to spend the money on something meaningful that would be in my family for a long time. I decided that a piano was the perfect solution. I looked in every shop in Calgary and Edmonton as well as doing lots of research online. But Brian at the Piano Gallery seemed to be the most knowledgeable and helpful out of everybody. I explained my situation to him and told him my budget and he searched for me until we found something that I was really happy with. A beautiful upright 52" Ritmuller. It's gorgeous. | My husband and I custom ordered a Hailun grand piano (5’ 10”) in ebony high gloss with bird’s eye maple wood trim inside. It is truly a beautiful instrument with amazing tone and key response. We shopped all the other stores in Calgary looking at Yamaha, Boston, Steinway and various others and decided that the Hailun was the best choice based on quality of sound, beautiful workmanship, price point and overall value. Additionally, we had the “Player” package (PianoDisc) installed so that the piano could play itself and it has been a real hit at our parties and dinners. The Player is driven by the latest Apple technology - the IPad 2. All 3,000 songs that we currently have were purchased through PianoDisc and are played through I Tunes. We also have pod casts enabling us to view artists playing/ singing along with the piano via the IPad tablet. The music is extensive and includes everything from Frank Sinatra to Micheal Buble; we even have a pod cast of Bugs Bunny playing the piano. We are an Apple family and have converted all our technology to Apple products throughout our home and offices. When we compared the Hailun to Yamaha we were not only disappointed with the look and tinny sound of the Yamaha but we could not believe that the latest Yamaha Player had an old style 5.25 disk installed. What? That technology is from the late 80’s and has been outdated since the 90’s. The Hailun with the Player installed was such a superior product that we could not look elsewhere. An interesting addition to the Player/PianoDisc is the ability to listen to: 1. the piano (pure acoustic) 2. the artist singing/accompaniment 3. both at the same time 4. karaoke (available in preliminary stages) 5. recorded live videos of artists, orchestration & piano accompaniment. This gives you the option to use your piano in different ways. It enables you to use it to practice and develop your own abilities by playing/ singing along or you can simply just sit back and enjoy the sound of either live piano or acoustically enhanced recorded music in your own home. My husband and I bought this piano because we have three young girls studying piano and voice. We wanted to investment in the best instrument to help them develop these skills keeping in mind tone, key response, quality of sound, workmanship, beauty, price point and overall value. We had our choice to buy any of the pianos we looked at but the Hailun met all our requirements. Brian at the Piano Gallery has provided exceptional service to us and has been available to answer any questions that we may have. | I love my new Kurzweil digital piano. I purchased this brand from Brian Schmidt December 2011. As a player of over 15 years, I appreciate the touch and sound of a grand piano that Kurzweil has perfected. For those of you that are not familar with Kurzweil, I highly recommend you come in to Brians's showroom and test this line. As person who likes to research and test other brands, it became quite clear that Kurzweil was the way to go. I can say with certainty, I made a great puchase for my needs and price point. In addition, Brian Schmidt has a gift for what true customer service and product knowledge is all about.
